Showcase local community-driven clean energy options through video storytelling.
Clean energy is now a viable option for local consumers, but many questions remain on how to take advantage of the available financial incentives. Community groups like Silver Spring Green are taking action by convening local meetings and raising awareness on the clean energy options and benefits for homeowners.
We worked with our friends at Bethesda Green, Green Wheaton, and Silver Spring Green put on a great panel discussion on April 10th. This interactive panel discussion offered an opportunity to get answers, including what were the factors that precipitated Clean Currents’ decision to close, the status of the clean energy market, and what renewable energy options are available for individual consumers and businesses.
GreenLeaders DC staff recorded interviews and produced a feature video to serve local communities seeking more information from community leaders.
GreenLeaders DC did an excellent job of filming the speakers on a panel organized by three local non-profit sustainability organizations in Maryland. They were very responsive to our needs, created a short professional video, and made it available to each group for educational and promotional purposes. I’d recommend them for a similar project in the future.
